This will reduce your Stellarium window, and from there you can adjust its’ size by dragging the window corners like any other program window. Hover your mouse over the bottom panel and click on the icon of a box with four arrows at the corner pointing inwards. Now you’ll want to reduce the size of your window so that it does not occupy your full screen.So hover your mouse over the side panel and click the top icon for ‘Navigation.’ Type in Knoxville, TN to the search bar, and set that as your default. You will need to change this to Knoxville, TN. When you open Stellarium for the first time, by default the location will be set to Paris, France.As you hover over these bars, two panels appear with the Stellarium controls.
Go to the bottom left corner and notice two white bars, one on the side, one on the bottom. After it comes up, notice that the program fills your whole screen. Open Stellarium by double clicking the new icon on your desktop.For this exercise use the lab computers with Stellarium already installed.
